Kupu, Hawai‘i’s leading environmental education nonprofit, opened Ho‘okupu Center in 2019. Designed to offer job training and community building for local youth, the facility is a model of sustainability with a net-zero energy-rated photovoltaic system, Hawai‘i’s first EverCharge Hawai‘i EV charging stations, and natural lighting systems.

Pacific Current owns and operates the 95-kW rooftop solar system at Ho‘okupu Center, which was built and installed in partnership with RevoluSun. Ho‘okupu Center also serves as the pilot location for Pacific Current’s joint venture with EverCharge, bringing the latest in EV charging technology to Hawai‘i.
