Carina has extensive experience supporting large infrastructure development projects, especially in the energy arena. She began her career in private practice before moving in house, working for Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company and Dillingham Corporation. Carina also served in various positions within the legal department at Bechtel Corporation, including ten years with Bechtel’s global oil, gas, and chemicals division based in Houston, Texas, where she supported projects throughout the United States, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Middle East. Most recently, Carina served as senior counsel for Hawaiian Electric Company, supporting engineering and construction operations.

Carina is a graduate of the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa and University of San Francisco School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Hawai‘i, California (inactive) and Washington (inactive).
